In the waning months of 2012, our paths crossed in Champaign, Illinois. No fewer than three people claim credit for introducing us. However it happened, it was meant to be. Six months later, we found ourselves laughing uncontrollably in the middle of a freezing tour bus on a class trip outside Lucas do Rio Verde, Brazil. A quick seven years later, Kyle was down on one knee, speechless, at the top of the Apgar Summit in Glacier National Park. Although the words wouldn't come out, the context was pretty obvious. Nikhi said yes.
