A 2.5-mile, out-and-back hike to the top of Guemes Mountain - fantastic views of the San Juans!

Stop in at the Guemes Island General Store for some great pastries, Guemes Island merch, and basic pantry/grocery necessities.

Grab ice cream from the Guemes Island Resort gift shop & walk over to adjacent Youngs Park to enjoy the view!

A half-mile of public access shoreline - great for rock hunting, beachcombing, and nature watching.

Kellys Point

A dog-friendly 120-acre forest and nature preserve on Guemes Island with nearly 3 miles of trail to explore.

Trailhead entrance ~1/2 mile north of W Shore Dr and S Shore Dr intersection.

Schoolhouse Park has a playground, pickleball/tennis courts, and a pavilion with picnic tables.

A moderate day hike (6.5-mile loop) 50 minutes north of Anacortes in the Chuckanut Mountains. The trail heads steeply up Blanchard Mountain to reach a viewpoint of the San Juans and Olympic Mountains.

Oyster Dome Trailhead

The BEST ice cream with HUGE servings. 100% worth it to wait in line. Makes for a pretty detour through Skagit Valley farmland on the way in/out of Anacortes.
