What should we wear?

Answer

Think Summer Chic AKA Festive Casual (Google it and that can help :)) We want out guests to be comfortable and ready to party! We have updated the wedding location to be held at the home of Kandace's dad. While still mostly outdoors, there will be easy access to air conditioning if you need to cool off. The ground is also mostly concrete or grass so high heels won't be terrible, but would still steer clear of stilettos.

Will there be food?

Answer

YES! Come hungry and ready for a late dinner. We are having our favorite BBQ from Heim Fort Worth catered at the wedding. Come hungry & stay late!

What is the bar situation?

Answer

We will be serving up our favorite cocktails, beer & wine at an open bar for cocktail hour and the reception. The drinks are on us, but tips will be welcome by our amazing bartenders & we won't judge if you bring a cooler of beer in your truck (Paul). :) A note for our friends & family: DO NOT DRINK AND DRiVE. If you drive yourself and accidentally indulge in a delicious cocktail, we will find you a ride to wherever you need to go or a bed for the night nearby. The police in Wise County are very serious about safety- don't say I didn't warn you.

Why so late?

Texas. Summer. Heat. We were set on this date & location and we thank you for playing along & joining in the fun!! Hoping for cooler temps after sunset & will have tiki torches for bugs.

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Yes! We are most excited to celebrate with our closest friends & family, especially the little ones!

Where do we park?

Answer

There will be parking & valet on location. We will have valet set up in front of the house to take cars just around the corner so you do not have to park on the street, but that is also an option.

How are you adjusting for COVID-19?

Answer

We have only invited our closest family & friends and your health & safety is extremely important to us! If you are not feeling well or feel unsafe, we completely understand if you are not able to attend. For those at the wedding, we will have hand sanitizer stations set around, outdoor seating, extra tables & chairs for spacing out, and disposable cups & plates. We will have extra masks on-site in case you forget yours or get in and decide that wearing one is best, but since this is a private venue, a mask is not mandatory.
