Amazon / Etsy have a really good selection of Indian clothes if you want to buy online. If you prefer to buy in person you can plan to arrive in India earlier to buy pre made attires from the markets.

What is the currency of India and where can I get my money exchanged?

The currency in India is the Indian Rupee. Its best to exchange your money prior to landing in india ( at the airport or an exchange union ) Note : we primarily use cash everywhere in India

How can I stay connected in India?

We recommend getting an international plan on your current phone line activated prior to leaving. You can also buy a sim card when you land in India. Vodafone is a reliable company to buy a sim card from. You should see booths for them at the airport.

Is there any specific travel tips or precautions I should be aware of?

When traveling to India please remember to only drink sealed bottle water. Avoid ice in all drinks or cocktails and do not eat any kind of street food even if its packaged well. Theft is common so please make sure to keep track of your belongings.
