Wedding Party

Allison McDonald

Maid of Honor

Younger sister of the bride. Allison and I have grown up doing everything together, from swim club—where she quickly outswam me straight into her college career—to life itself. Not many people know this, but Allison technically went through third grade twice; the first time, she was only three years old, sitting at a desk next to me while our mom made copies for teachers at Clippard. While we’ve had our fair share of sisterly fights, we always found our way back to each other, sharing laughter and spending hours playing dollhouse, school, Kim Possible on the trampoline, and Harry Potter with friends. She’s my built-in best friend and has been by my side through every high and low. I can’t imagine going through this day without her right beside me.

Kent Courtney

Best Man

Kent isn’t just my best man — he’s my older brother, one of my best friends, and one of the biggest constants in my life. Some of my best memories growing up involve late nights fishing, random adventures, and the kind of stories that still get brought up years later; like the time we were convinced we caught an electric eel at 2 a.m. on the Mississippi River. No matter what we were doing, there was always laughter, chaos, and memories being made. Through every stage of life, he’s always been someone I could count on, someone who showed up, and someone who never stopped being my brother in every sense of the word.

Linnea Kogan

Matron of Honor

Cousin of the bride. I was born on the twins' 9th birthday, and ever since, we have been more like sisters than cousins. Growing up, I always looked up to Linnea and followed in her footsteps, especially in cross-country running. She was always looking out for me—even during those early-morning summer swim workouts (iykyk). We share so many common interests, from the books we love to the reality TV shows we binge-watch. Over the years, Linnea has been a constant listening ear, offering thoughtful advice through both my highs and lows. She has taught me so much about life and given me the confidence to become the woman I am today.

Dustin Johnson

Groomsman

Dustin is my twin brother, and there’s honestly no way to fully explain a bond like that unless you’ve lived it. From the very beginning, we’ve gone through life side by side through every win, setback, bad idea, and unforgettable memory along the way. We’ve always been the kind of people who jump headfirst into things together, including the time we decided it would be a good idea to sign up for a 100-mile trail race with basically no experience and almost no training. Somehow, that perfectly sums us up. No matter how difficult, crazy, or uncertain something looked, we’ve always figured it out together. He may live in Alaska now, but distance has never changed the fact that he’s been my built-in teammate, and someone I know will always be in my corner no matter where life takes us.

Kasper Haase

Bridesmaid

Cousin of the bride. I was born on the twins’ 9th birthday and wanted to be just like them as I grew up. One of my earliest memories is going to see her play Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast during her junior high musical—probably the reason I ended up joining stage choir at CJHS too. After college, when I was trying to figure out what came next, Kasper was such a bright spot in my life. She was my dinner buddy on Tuesday nights at Pasta House with the grandparents, made touring the old Jefferson City prison way more fun than it should’ve been, invited me to a Galentine’s full of laughs, and really helped me grow in my faith along the way.

Dale Vest

Groomsman

When I moved to Pennsylvania, I didn’t know just how important some of the people I’d meet there would become in my life. Dale started out as someone I worked with, but it didn’t take long before that turned into a real friendship built on trust, loyalty, and always having each other’s backs. Through long days at work, conversations about life, and plenty of laughs along the way, he became one of those people I knew I could count on no matter what. Moving somewhere new can be difficult, but having good people around makes all the difference, and Dale has been one of those people for me since day one in Pennsylvania. I’m grateful for the friendship we’ve built over the years and proud to have him standing beside me on one of the biggest days of my life.

Katie Bagley

Bridesmaid

Best friend since college. We first met at Truman Swim Club, and despite the miles between us, we’ve been practically inseparable ever since. We bonded instantly over our shared love of all things Disney and Reign. By our second year, I was practically living in her and our friend Bridgette’s dorm room. Katie has always been one of the first people I turn to for advice—especially when it came to dating. She’s had a front-row seat to Kamryn’s and my relationship from the very beginning. We’ve celebrated so many milestones together over the year, including her own wedding. This moment feels like the perfect cherry on top of all the memories we’ve made.
