Fergie's Pub
If you're looking for somewhere to go Friday night, we highly recommend Fergie's Pub. Downstairs is a typical Irish pub but upstairs you'll find live band karaoke. There's a good chance you'll see some of our wedding guests on stage the night before the wedding if you go!
Dalessandro's Steaks
If you've never had an authentic Philly Cheesesteak we recommend Dalessandro's! For those staying downtown, you can also check out Pat's or Geno's for a more classic tourist experience.
New Ridge Brewing Co.
Our favorite brewery just a quick walk from our house in Manayunk. You'll likely find us here on Wednesday nights playing trivia or Saturday afternoons watching Penn State football while snacking on their delicious fries (say yes to the beer cheese).
Valley Forge National Historical Park
If you have access to a car, we highly recommend visiting Valley Forge. It's one of our favorite places to go for a long walk and is especially beautiful when the leaves are changing.
Independence Hall
If you aren't able to drive out to Valley Forge then walk over to Independence Hall in Old City. There are countless museums and plenty of cobblestone paths to explore.
Barnes Foundation
If you're staying at the Maj Hotel, this amazing museum is right around the corner!
