Short North Arts District
Short North Arts District is a hip, culture-rich area centered on N. High Street. German Village
The laid-back German Village is known for charming brick houses built by 19th-century immigrants along Beck, Mohawk, and Deshler streets. Shops selling books, traditional fudge, and handmade jewelry mingle with art galleries, German pubs, American bistros, and artisan coffee shops. In summer, the Actors’ Theatre Columbus stages outdoor Shakespeare and other plays in Schiller Park with its fountains and flower beds. North Market
From 1813-1873, the current location of the North Market housed a cemetery known as the North Graveyard. After negotiations with city developers, grave removal and relocation began in 1872. In 1876, a market house as well as other small businesses and restaurants were built on the land. Very cool marketplace "The variety of retailers is amazing. Food from around the globe can be sampled here. There is also an incredible spice shop, a balsamic vinegar vendor, meat market, and Bakery. It is one of my favorite destinations in Columbus."

The Book Loft of German Village
The Book Loft of German Village. 32 room bookstore, which you will love if you are a bookworm! You can also stop by Stauf's Coffee or Pistacio Vera for a treat next door while you're in the area. German Village, the neighborhood where it is located, is also a beautiful, scenic area to walk around and explore.
