One of our 1st photos together on a date on Lincoln Road in Miami. We always said it looked like an engagement photo shoot. Well here we are. Honey we made it!

The day he proposed!! True story...I had a feeling it was going to be THE DAY. Just incase, I bought a new outfit in my fave color of white and got ready.

On this day, Matt took me out on a water excursion boat trip. He asked me to be his girlfriend & gave me a ring pop to make it "official". He said that one day he hoped we would be able to upgrade it.

From our ring pop story to this...I think it's safe to say this was the upgrade.

The best vacation! He planned it all without me. I didn't even know which hotel we were staying until we landed in the DR. I'm a hotel/ambiance snob; The Hard Rock did not disappoint. Thx babe!

Can you tell which one of us tends to be "extra" ?

The night we met (not this photo), I lifted her feet off the ground as I gave her a hug to say goodbye. Later found out she gave me a side-eye for this..It was pretty clear she was wifey material.

Between the 2 of us we have 5 degrees but really he's the smart one lol

When we started dating, we BOTH laid out our expectations. Mine included that I wasn't a wife just yet-so this is one of the rare moments I cooked a "wifey" meal for him -He approved of my skills lol

Tears--- on this Valentine's Day, he bought this empty box, ribbon, a bow and roses and made this flower box from scratch for me. Get this man Pinterest Stock. Forever thoughtful.

I said "yes" after years of observing him in moments like this with my nephew and how he treated not only myself but my loved ones and strangers alike.
