Brooke and Kami met in 2015 when Kami was her pre-k teaching intern. Brooke and her immediately clicked on Kami's first day of internship and it truly felt like they had known each other their whole lives. They bonded over their Christian faith, mutual obsession with the show Friends, and Brooke was coincidentally dating a fellow collegiate tennis player that Kevin played against multiple times. She is now married to that tennis player and Kami is "Auntie" to her two kiddos! Brooke embodies grace, kindness, and goofiness and is a true lifelong friend..the real MVP and the best maid of honor!
Courtney Andrews

Courtney met Kami during junior year at PLNU and they have been glued to the hip ever since! They were in the same major and bonded over their passion for education, being a part of the die hard SWIFTIE nation, and eating their weight in California burritos. Courtney is the epitome of strength and spunk and is forever a lifelong friend. Kami got to stand next to her on her big day and now Courtney is returning the favor. There's no one like Court!

Robin met Kami when they were in preschool (3 years old!) and have been best friends ever since! Robin completes the "triplet" friendship with her twin sister Christina. Robin and Kami both share a deep love for education, Mamma Mia, and Kami holds full responsibility for getting Robin obsessed with the show Friends. Robin is the best combination of kindness and humor and Kami is so honored to have her stand by her side (just like she did for her!)

Christina met Kami in preschool (3 years old!) and has been Kami's best friend ever since. Kami and Christina share a deep love for friendly competition, Mamma Mia, and sports. She completes the "triplet" friendship with her twin sister Robin and keeps Kami laughing with her kind honesty and sense of humor. Christina is a loyal friend and Kami can't wait to have her stand by her side on her wedding day (just like she did for her!)

Maddie met Kami on the first day of Kindergarten! Kami was nervous about a new classroom and Maddie walked right up to her and said "Hi, my name is Maddie, want to be friends?" And the rest is history! Kami and Maddie share an obsession of dogs, Spongebob quotes, and committing hardcore to costume parties. Maddie is a fearless adrenaline junkie, but also the most loyal and generous friend. Kami is honored to have her by her side!

Kaili and Kami have been best friends since high school! Their friendship is filled with memories like going to every single high school dance together, girls nights paired with baking cookies and jacuzzi time, and so many beach days/pool parties to count! She is the the epitome of a golden retriever-intelligent, sweet, and loyal...what a gal! Kami is so excited to have her by her side!

Abby and Kami met in a Bible study in 2018 and immediately clicked over their mutual love for Jesus, sparkles, and rosé wine! Since then, they have led a life group together, grown in their faith together, and celebrated the big milestones (Kami was at her wedding and is "Auntie" to her three beautiful children!) Now Abby gets to celebrate this incredible milestone for Kami standing by her side! What a blessing!

Bree and Kami met in 2022 working at ETHS...Go Chargers! They hit it off when they collaborated on the "staff dance" and after multiple rehearsals filled with laughter and learning choreography, it was clear they were spirit animals! Bree and Kami bond over their mutual love for education, school spirit, and the musical Wicked. Bree is the perfect mix of spunk, goofiness, and kindness and is for sure Kami's teacher bestie! Kami is honored to have her by her side on her wedding day!
Nick Candau

Nick and Kevin met in P.E. class their freshman year of high school. We became friends by playing football and through San Ramon Valley High sports. Nick was one of few freshman to play on the varsity water polo team, and Kevin played on varsity tennis as well. Nick and Kevin have been best friends for 17 years and Kevin will be Nick's best man at his wedding in September. Nick and Kevin have enjoyed bro trips to Hawaii and played numerous golf rounds together. We share a similar sense of humor and always say inside jokes when hanging out. Nick is loyal, hard working, and always has my back! I am so honored to have him as my best man.
Austin Andrews

Kevin and Austin met at Point Loma Nazarene University during their freshman year. They had a few business classes at the Fermanian School of Business and developed a great relationship. Kevin and Austin played on the same intramural sports including ultimate frisbee and soccer. The final two years of school, Kevin and Austin played on the same intramural frisbee team. They also have taken a few trips together including a 12 mile hike of the Grand Canyon, New York City, Washington D.C. and Philadelphia. Austin is a wonderful person, who is adventurous and loves his wife Courtney. Austin is also one of the strongest men I've ever met.
Sam Smith

Sam and Kevin met during a course at Mariners Church, called "Rooted" in 2024. Sam was Kevin's rooted leader. Kevin admires Sam for the work he does in ministry and for the dedication to his family. Sam baptized Kevin after completing the Rooted course in November 2024 and Sam then nominated Kevin to be a life group leader. Sam is expecting a baby girl in January and will be a great dad! Sam is a man of God and it is amazing to see the friendship we have developed over this short year and a half. I am so honored to have Sam as a groomsman.
Brian Platter

Kevin and Brian are cousins from their mother's side of the family. Brian went to University of Davidson for undergrad and then graduated from Duke for his M.B.A. Brian and Kevin grew up living on separate ends of the country, however, our families traveled frequently to visit each other. Brian and his brother David used to fight over pushing me in the stroller as child, which is often brought up at family gatherings, and always gets a laugh. We have also played countless rounds of golf in Arizona, which are some of my favorite memories. Brian and his wife, Lauren have one daughter named Caroline. It is very special to have Brian standing up next to Kevin on his wedding day.
David Platter

Kevin and David are cousins from their mother's side of the family. David graduated from the University of Virginia undergrad and from Duke for his M.B.A. He and his younger Brian are die-hard Yankee's fans. He currently lives in Connecticut with his wife Catherine and three kids: Grace, Brooks, and Hadley. One of Kevin's favorite memories with David is clay pigeon shooting during his bachelor party in Arizona. Kevin is very thankful that he is traveling across the country to stand with me as a groomsman.

Kevin and Albert are cousins from extended family. Albert is a very successful person who has worked for Salesforce, and now works for DocuSign. He lives in California with his wife Cailtyn and two daughters, Camilla and Chloe. Kevin used to attend all of Albert's high school football and basketball games growing up. Kevin followed in Albert's footsteps attending the same high school, where Kevin played Varsity tennis. One of Kevin's favorite memories with Albert is throwing the football around after San Ramon Valley High won the CIF football championship.
Kyle Murphy

Kevin and Kyle met when he was dating Kevin's cousin, Taylor. Kyle is an incredible entrepreneur, who currently does content creation, making marketing videos for companies. Kyle currently lives in Florida and is married to Taylor and they have two boys: Emmett and Brendan. One of Kevin's best memories with Kyle was when he flew down to help Kevin fly with Ezra for the first time. He had extra snacks and milk prepared for Ezra, which was such a selfless act to ease Kevin's nerves about flying with Ezra. Kevin is honored to have Kyle as a groomsman.

Chris and Kevin met during a course at Mariners Church, called "Rooted" in 2024. Chris was in the same group that Sam lead. Chris is an amazing person who dedicated his life to the Lord after overcoming great hardship in his personal life. Chris has a beautiful family, his wife Trish and son Anthony are the most important people in his life. Chris and Kevin have great conversations about faith and about cryptocurrency. Chris was also an integral part of Kami and Kevin's engagement because he was all part of the rouse to fool Kami and he filmed the entire proposal. He's a great guy and Kevin loves that he'll have him by his side!

Our beloved Ezra will be walking down the aisle to give the rings to his mommy and daddy! He is elated to have this special job and will be the most excited to show his dance moves on the dance floor!

Savannah is one of Kami's beautiful goddaughters and is both incredibly loving and hilariously goofy. Kami met her when she was a toddler and now she is a wonderful young lady that will be Kami's junior bridesmaid! Like Kami, she loves Disney movies and loves to sing, so of course she and Kami are best friends!

Bridget is Kami's other beloved goddaughter and she is the perfect mix of spunky and sweet!. She is Savannah's younger sister and Kami has known her since birth. Like Kami, she loves pink and sparkles, and is so excited to be Kami's flower girl!
