FAQs

Question

But what do I wear?

Answer

Whatever makes you feel most comfortable! The ceremony will be held outdoors, which has a paved aisle surrounded by benches and grass. The reception will be held inside a two story barn and there are two fire pits to enjoy outside. Don't forget your dancing shoes!

Question

What precautions are you taking due to COVID-19?

Answer

The venue is outdoor ceremony (weather pending) and indoor reception. There are two fire pits outside that people can sit at if they choose. Unfortunately, we limited our guest list dramatically and only 140 people will be in attendance. Masks will be optional. There will be red and yellow wristbands for those who wish to social distance. Red-6 six feet apart, no talking or touching... Yellow- remain 6 ft apart, but only okay with talking. No wristband- comfortable with whatever.... The caterers will be serving all food to reduce any cross contamination.

Question

What are the parking arrangements?

Answer

The barn can easily be mapped by GPS! 703 Bert Cockerham Rd, Elkin, NC 28621. A parking lot is located directly across from the venue for your convenience.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! There will be appetizers and an open bar following the ceremony. Dinner will be BBQ and sides from Anywhere'z Fine of Caldwell County.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your wedding invitation says, "And Guest," then yes! If not, please only bring yourself. Guests are limited in order to comply with the venues requirements.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes and it will be addressed as "The **** Family," on the wedding invitation. Please make sure to include your children in the "Number of Guests" section on the RSVP. However, if you are in need of a date night, please take this opportunity to treat yourself and have a night away.
