Desert formal? Grab your shit-kickers, bolo ties, and 10 gallon 1000X Stetson hat! But seriously -- nothin' too stuffy, we want everyone to have fun and be comfortable. If you love a theme, lean into the Western wear!
We hope not, but best to be prepared. Temperatures can drop at night and the desert can be unpredictably gusty so plan accordingly.
This is a very busy time of year in the desert, so arrive early. There will likely be some delays to enter the park and parking can be difficult as well. There are some overflow lots on the opposite side of the road, but its a small walk. You can access Hidden Valley from the West park entrance. All vehicles will need a pass to enter the park. We suggest folks carpool to cut down on the amount of passes required, as well as to consolidate parking. Also we're only allowed to have 8 cars so don't make us break the rules.
Yes, you're getting tacos and alcohol.
You can leave your car overnight at Red Dog, or Pappy + Harriets next door. Uber/Lyft can be sparse, but Roadrunner cab service is very reliable and you can even schedule pickups online or in advance!
The Tiny Pony Tavern is the after hours desert dive! The lovely Super 8 is across the street, in case you like to plan ahead.
