Wedding Party

We decided not to do a traditional wedding party, but there are a few extraordinary people we want to acknowledge. Your support has meant more to us than words can express, and we’re honored to have you woven into this chapter of our lives.

Kim Schmieg

Sister

Kim has always been a constant in my life. Sure, there were times growing up when I’m pretty sure she didn’t like me much. But over the years, we've grown closer than ever. She and her husband Travis make it a point to come to Boston almost every year, whether it’s for a graduation, an engagement, or simply to celebrate this wild and beautiful thing we call life. Her visits remind me of how strong family bonds can be, how love shows up—even across miles—and how lucky I am to have her. Everything I have, I owe to her.

Michelle Trepanier

Sister

Michelle is my oldest (maybe not wisest) sister — but definitely the funniest, once you crack her shell. Whether we’re hiking, talking about Taylor Swift, or just wandering through nature, we’re always chatting about something. She’s the person I call when I have something to complain about — and the person I call when I have absolutely nothing to say at all. She’s not just my sister. She’s my best friend

Tanya Corey

Best friend

Tanya and I first met in high school, and from the very beginning, there was something special about our connection. Over the years, that bond has only grown stronger — evolving from teenage friendship into something truly lifelong and unshakable. She has become my chosen family, my confidante, and my constant through all of life’s ups and downs. Tanya is everything you could ever hope for in a friend. She’s loyal, compassionate, fiercely supportive — always the first to cheer you on when you’re winning, but also the first to call you out when you need it. And honestly, that kind of honesty is rare and something we all need more than we realize. Tanya isn’t just a supportive friend — she’s a grounded, truth-telling, ride-or-die kind of woman.

Raquel Sousa

Best friend

Raquel and I were kind of forced into friendship when we both got accepted into our early admission graduate program. From the very beginning, it was study dates, gossip about professors, and talks about our futures as SLPs. I still remember early on, someone asked us, “So, are you guys best friends?” And we both awkwardly laughed and said, “Well… we’re friends.” Now? I don't think a week goes by without a check-in text—just seeing how the other’s doing, even if it's just a quick “How was your week?” I don’t know how she feels, but I can say without hesitation: she's my best friend. (She better say the same.)

Emma Ferguson

Sister

Emma is Andrew’s sister, allegedly — but to me, she has always felt like so much more. She is the cooler, younger, and wonderfully unique sister I never knew I needed. Although Emma is soon to become my sister officially, it feels as though we’ve shared that bond for quite some time already, and I hope she feels the same. Even if I am the somewhat “lame” older sister she may or may not have wished for. It has truly been a privilege to watch her grow over the past eleven years — from the spirited kid I first met into the remarkable, eccentric, and inspiring person she is today.

Connor LaFlamme

Best friend

Connor and I have been friends since our early childhood on Blueberry Lane. He has always the ringleader of our group (which may not have been the wisest choice); from carrying televisions around the neighborhood for the sake of Halo, to getting lost around Providence, or becoming horrendously sick whilst camping. I feel incredibly lucky to have him as a friend today and it’s safe to say that he makes some better choices now.

Spencer Laflamme

Best friend

Another friend since the streets of Blueberry Lane, Spencer is the first to crack a joke, mostly as his own expense. Although not the mastermind behind the shenanigans as kids, he always added to the chaos and questionable choices.
