Can kids attend the wedding?

Answer

Sadly, we have decided NOT to include kids in our wedding ceremony or reception (other than our own kids, of course!). As much as we adore your little ones, we are looking forward to an intimate, adults-only wedding celebration! We hope you understand!

Question

Are we required to attend all 3 days of the wedding weekend/events?

Answer

We would LOVE for you to join us for the entire weekend, but we understand everyone has busy schedules! If you aren't able to attend the Welcome Party, the Ceremony/Reception, and/or the Farewell Brunch, that is totally fine! We just ask that you RSVP accordingly, so we can give our venue accurate guest counts before our events!

What should we wear to each event?

Answer

For the Welcome Party and the Farewell Brunch, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable - jeans/shorts, tees, sundresses, etc. These events will be casual! For our Wedding Ceremony/Reception, we ask that you dress semi-formal - suits, dresses, skirts, dress shoes, etc. No jeans or sneakers please!

Do we have to stay at The Homestead or can we stay elsewhere?

Answer

We would greatly appreciate if you stayed at The Homestead with the rest of our wedding block guests! We have already covered the costs of ALL food & drinks for the weekend's events, including the welcome party, wedding ceremony/reception, & the farewell brunch, to help alleviate some out-of-pocket costs for our family & friends! We understand there are several other places nearby to stay for the weekend, but this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us, and we'd love nothing more than all our family & friends to stay on site at The Homestead with us!
