IF YOU LOVE HALLOWEEN AS MUCH AS WE DO THEN YES! We will be holding a Best Costume Contest at our wedding! All of our guests will be asked to vote for their favorite costume!
THAT'S OKAY TOO! While we don't have a dress code, the overall theme of the wedding is gothic, macabre, medieval, uncanny, and bizarre! Colors like black and red will fit in well with our theme! We encourage everyone to wear an outfit that they would have no other occasion to wear! Whatever makes you feel like your spookiest self!
We would greatly appreciate RSVP's as soon as you know for certain whether or not you will be attending our wedding. If you are still on the fence, we hope to you can RSVP no later than August 2025!
On our website under the RSVP tab, you will find a portal to enter your name and then select whether or not you will be attending.
We understand that many people will have to travel for our wedding and considering the economic circumstances our country is under, gifts are not expected. If you wish to leave us an offering, under the registry tab on our website you will find our registry hosted through Zola. We have cash funds listed as well as a few various household items that we would appreciate but are not necessary to our survival. The altar outside the reception will also be a place to leave any offerings, material or otherwise.
As stated on the Celebration tab of our website, guests will be allowed entry into the venue at 5PM and the ceremony will start at 5:30PM. If you arrive early, please feel free to explore the surrounding area, as our venue is located within the Museum District of Detroit.
Both the ceremony and reception will be held in one place. The venue itself has a small parking lot for individuals who arrive early. The surrounding streets are filled with street parking, however if guests prefer a more secure option, there is a parking lot next door and across the street that belongs to the Detroit Institute of Art that guests can pay to park in!
If you'd like to give a speech at our wedding, please email us at madden.kaley@gmail.com !
Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to invite kids to our wedding. We hope that child care arrangements can be made for those of you that it is of concern, but we understand if this prohibits attendance.
