In light of recent events occuring in the Dominican Republic, we have decided to move our wedding to Riviera Maya, Mexico. Our first priority is the health and safety of our family and friends. We thank you for being patient with us as we make these changes. The wedding date and your resort arrival and departure dates will remain the same. We have chosen to stay within the Hard Rock family and move it to the Hard Rock Riviera Maya. We are working with Connie and the resort to make everything happen on the back end (i.e. secure the rooms and rates, secure the airport transportation, etc.). The only thing we would ask you to do if you haven't done so already is change your flights and email your new itinerary to Connie so she can put all necessary documents together. The closest airport will be Cancun International Airport - all major airlines fly here. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the travel, resort, rooms, flights, etc. Please feel free to contact Brandon or myself directly. We look forward to seeing y'all in Mexico!!!
We never thought we'd be online daters, but let's face it, the days of meeting people organically are pretty much over thanks to the internet, iPhones, and dating apps. Brandon moved to Houston in 2013, and after two years of going on terrible dates in Houston, he decided to join the dating app Bumble. In the meantime, Kaley had just moved to Houston, and wanted to meet new people so she too decided to join Bumble. Bumble is one of those swipe-right, swipe-left to meet your match kind of apps. However, it's a bit different as the female has to start the conversation and only has 24-hours to do so. Brandon's profile caught Kaley's eye as he was wearing Wisconsin gear in all his pictures (Green Bay, Whitewater, Badgers, Bucks) so she decided to take a chance on a good ole Wisconsin boy. Eventually, we went out for drinks and discovered we grew up 5 miles away from each other in neighboring towns and had so much more in common. We realized our paths had probably crossed several times before in Wisconsin, but it took 2 moves that were 2 years apart, 1200 miles, and a dating app for us to meet - they say everything happens for a reason! We're so excited to celebrate our love for each other with our family and friends!
