These are our recommendations for our out-of-town guests. There are other hotels in downtown Athens if you are interested, but these are the best location for the weekend.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
If you are flying in, this is the closest airport to Athens. It is about an hour and a half drive from the Airport to downtown Athens.

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport
Greenville is about the same distance away from Athens as Atlanta if you prefer to fly in here.
