FAQs

If you have any questions beyond what we listed here, please contact us at 304-545-1318 or 616-745-5738
Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

We will miss you! We understand that there are a number of reasons why you may not be able to attend. We simply ask that you RSVP "No" as soon as possible. If you are not able to attend, but would like to see the ceremony over a livestream, it will be at this link: https://youtu.be/HWJ_6yu_PwA

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ideally, the ceremony will be outdoors. If it were to rain, we have a backup indoor ceremony location at the venue. All areas are considered open-air space!

Question

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

That's a little bit of a tricky question because the weather can be so fickle. Historically, the high is about 65 degrees. However, we recommend checking the weather forecast a few days before the wedding.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

To put it in fancy clothing terminology: cocktail or semi-formal. In layman's terms, we want you to feel comfortable and look nice while you're at it. If you're coming from church, there's no need to change!

Question

Where should I park? Is parking free?

Answer

The venue has a large field behind the venue which they use for free parking. There are also a handful of handicap parking spaces available if needed.

Question

Can I take pictures of the wedding and post them on social media?

Answer

The answer to that is two-fold. We ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. We want you to be able to be fully present and not have to worry about getting the perfect shot. After the ceremony is over, we encourage taking pictures! If you post to social media, we ask that you post your pictures with the hashtag #TannerTiesTheKnot

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures for about an hour. There will be refreshments appetizers, and yard games available during this time.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you received a "plus one" on your invitation, then yes! If you did not, we ask that you refrain from bringing a guest.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We are excited to have your whole family come and celebrate with us. We will have an activity table available if your kids are looking for something to keep them entertained.
