Matron of Honor
If you live locally, you might remember the Sears store in the Taunton Mall, now closed (haha suckers!) This is where Kayla and I met and where I worked with her and her future husband, Eric Martins. In what was close to a Friends-At-First-Sight situation, Kayla and I bonded quickly and in the years since have spent far too many hours eating and sitting and shit-talking on each others' couches. We've crashed proms, graduated college, written books, braved NYC among other locales, and have the pleasure as serving as each others' Maid/Matron of Honor. Kayla will also be the one fighting anyone who misbehaves, so watch out! ;)
Best Man
Chris and Eric met through their amazing and beautiful then-girlfriends myself and Kayla. Kayla and I agreed that based on how similar we are, we probably chose similar boyfriends, too. As usual, we were right. Between their mutual interests in video games and cooking--which has lead to some fantastic prime ribs and burgers being cooked--Chris and Eric found they had a lot in common. And with Kayla and Eric living just down the street, double dates are even easier. And what better match for the Matron of Honor and Best Man than a married couple1
Officiant
Nicole and I met on March 2nd, 1996 when she requested that I be left at the hospital. Luckily for me, my parents decided they wanted to keep the other child they made and brought me home. Though our age gap in the early years may have lead to some tears, broken bones, eye patches, and various wounds, our love of literature and Harry Potter has always united us. Shortly after Chris and i got engaged, I made a proposal of my own, which Nicole graciously accepted, and we are excited to have her as our officiant.
