How is the resort handling Covid-19?

Answer

The resort is putting everyone's health and safety first! They have put in a "360 Clean Approach" which means the pools, beach, restaurants, bars, entertainment facilities, lobbies, elevators, hallways and other shared spaces are all cleaned hourly. -Testing for Covid to return to the United States at the resort. (Be sure to get tested within 3 days of returning) -Advanced Dinning Safety - The resort has reduced restaurant capacities and implemented a one-step reservation system to ensure physical distancing and guidelines are respected. -Staff Care Training and Awareness - Strict hygiene protocols for resort staff, a thorough cleaning at the staff entrance to the resort, the use of proper PPE such as gloves, masks, frequent hand cleaning with sanitizer or soap and water, temperature checks, along with social distancing. -There will be sanitizer stations placed throughout the resort, and a guest capacity while in doors! Is the Resort All-Inclusive?

Yes! All food and drinks are provided at the resort free of charge with your stay! There are 8 restaurants, 12 bars, a coffee and treat bar and room service! The resort has shows, Live Music, Fitness Gym, Paddle Boarding, Kayaking and a Casino are all just a glimpse of what is included! (All spa treatments motorized water sports, and mini golf are not included) *Bring tipping money to tip your staff*

Do we have to stay at the Resort?

Answer

All wedding festivities will be held at Royalton Bavaro. You are able to book your stay elsewhere - but 75% of our wedding guest have to stay at our resort. If you do decide you would like to stay at a separate resort, you have to purchase a "Day Pass" to enter the Royalton Bavaro. The day passes are valid for up to 8 hours.

What should I pack?

Please note the resort has a casual dress code for some of the restaurants and bars. Dinner Dress Code: Casual Elegance For The Fellas: Long pants, long shorts or capri pants with a collar shirt. For The Ladies: Long pants, capris, skirt, blouse, dress. Shoes: must be casual, no flip flops. Swim suits in certain bars/restaurants: Fellas: must have a shirt on Ladies: must have a swim suit cover up. Please visit their website to see further details! Our wedding will be on the beach. So feel free to wear linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses, sun dresses and sandals. Please consider: -cash for tipping money -sunscreen -bug spray -aloe vera
