Church Street Marketplace
Church Street Marketplace is a must see when coming to Burlington! Located downtown, the popular pedestrian walkway is lined with stores, restaurants, food carts and street performers. Waterfront Park
A blanket, good book and a frisbee will all do when enjoying a picnic at waterfront park. Walk or ride along the 100 mile bike path that touches from Oakledge Park all the way up to the Colchester Causeway. Get a glimpse of the skate park, dog park, BTV Frame and North beach campground. It's conveniently near ECHO Science Museum, Foam Brewery, the Skinny Pancake, Farmers & Foragers and Spot on the Dock.
South End Get Down
The South End Get Down is the most popular food truck event in town! Hosted every Friday night behind Barge Canal, this beer garden features 18+ food vendors, 2 bars, a live DJ and plenty of adorable dogs and babies. Don't miss out on a fried chicken sandwich, truffle fries, a local brew and a Vermont maple creemee.
Burlington Farmers Market
Saturday from 9am-2pm, enjoy local produce and homemade knick knacks at the Burlington Farmers Market. Grab baked goods, a maple lemonade and a bouquet of wildflowers while you peruse the sights. Easily bikeable with secure lock stations and ample parking for cars. Pine Street is also home to Zero Gravity, Queen City Brewing, Barge Canal (antique store), Thirty-odd (gift shop), Tom Girl Kitchen, Speeder & Earl's Coffee and the Venetian Soda Lounge (music venue).
Mt. Philo State Park
Need to stretch your legs? Mt. Philo has well groomed trails and stunning views of Charlotte, the Green Mountains and Lake Champlain. It's a brisket 2 mile hike to the top where you can enjoy a bagged lunch on adirondack chairs and picnic tables. While you are in the neighborhood, feel free to check out the Shelburne Museum, Shelburne General Store, Fiddlehead Brewing Company, Vermont Teddy Bear Factory and Le Marché Cafe.
