Keeneland Racetrack
Unable to attend the welcome event on 10/9? Keeneland has races all weekend! general admission tickets are less than $10 and races run all afternoon. This is a classic fall and spring tradition in Lexington. Experience some Kentucky culture and don't forget your fascinator! We have so many fond memories of Keeneland weekends.
The Distillery District
This 25-acre property was home to the historic James E. Pepper Distillery, which began making bourbon in 1879. However, in 1958 the site was abandoned completely, untouched for nearly 50 years. Now, it is a very popular area filled with food, drinks, and fun activities for all ages. Our favorites include Goodfella's pizza and the arcade bar at the Burl!
Kentucky Horse Park
The Kentucky Horse Park welcomes over one million visitors each year. It is owned and operated by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Visit to learn about Kentucky history and all things horses! Check out their event calendar for things like competitions, horse shows, rodeos, and more.
Downtown Lexington
Downtown Lexington is full of excellent restaurants, murals, shopping, night life, and more! Our favorites include Zim's cafe, Harvey's bar, and Ethereal Brewing Co.

Are you a fan of bourbon? Kentucky is home to many world-class bourbon distilleries and the iconic Bourbon Trail. You can't miss it! one of our favorites is Castle and Key because of its unique beauty. Check out their website above to plan your visits.
Legacy Trail
The Legacy Trail is a shared-use greenway trail that snakes its way through Lexington's iconic horse farms and green, rolling hills. This 12-mile trail starts in downtown Lexington and leads to the iconic Kentucky Horse Park. Walk, run, or bike!
