Most people dress up for the races, meaning dresses and skirts for the ladies, khakis and collared shirts for gentlemen, etc. You can even wear a fascinator or race day hat! This is an outdoor event so be mindful of weather. You will be standing on grass so a wider heel may be more practical.
There is a large field at Keeneland were the tailgate will be set up. We will share the exact location once parking is established. Feel free to drive and park for free. Uber/Lyft is also very accessible in Lexington. There will be small bites and drinks, feel free to BYOB as well. If you want to go into Keeneland to watch the races, general admission tickets are less than $10. Tickets can sell out fast so be on the lookout in mid-to-late August 2026 on the Keeneland website. We are excited to share this bit of Lexington culture with you all!

After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour. Following that, the reception will be held in the dining room. This is a child-free event. We love your little ones, but we ask for adults only during our celebration!
