From Whitefish, the Avalanche Amphitheater is approximately a one-hour drive. It is situated off the Going-to-the-Sun Road near the Trail of Cedars and is roughly 15 miles from the Park's west entrance. The location is near the Avalanche Lake Trailhead and just a short walk from the road, with a well-maintained boardwalk from the parking area. A pass is required for entry to the Park.
