What is the address for all wedding-related events?

Answer

All wedding festivities (welcome reception, ceremony, reception, etc.) will be held at Elkins Estate: 1750 Ashbourne Rd, Elkins Park, PA 19027. The venue is wheelchair accessible and the venue offers complementary valet parking.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Black-Tie: We ask that guests wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes with black neckties or bowties are preferred.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. Please note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP. Guests staying at Elkins Estate are also welcome to enjoy complimentary breakfast each morning.

Am I allowed to take photos during your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged wedding ceremony so our professional wedding photographer and videographer can get the best possible shots without the interference of other flashes or mobile screens. Thank you in advance! After the ceremony is over, please take as many photos as you'd like!

Is there parking at Elkins Estate?

Elkins Estate offers 24/7 complimentary valet parking.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Most guests will be able to stay on the property at Elkins Estate, as it has 60+ guests rooms available to book and will be exclusive to our group. Please email stay@theelkinsestate.com and Devon, from the Elkins Estate team, will respond with availability and pricing. If you’d prefer to stay at a nearby hotel, we recommend The Hilton Garden Inn Fort Washington or the Holiday Inn Express Fort Washington, though we will not be providing transportation to and from our venue as most guests will be lodging at Elkins Estate. Will there be other events to attend around the wedding?

Answer

Outside of our wedding day, we invite all guests to join us for a welcome reception the night before our wedding on February 27, 2025 at 7pm at Elkins Estate. We will be serving drinks and heavy appetizers. Cocktail attire is encouraged.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

All wedding festivities will be indoors.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We will not be hosting any children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding.

Answer

We will be sending out formal invitations a few months before our wedding date. At that time, you'll be able to RSVP online, right here on our wedding website.
