Elevation
Breckenridge is a high elevation town so there are things you should do to try to prevent altitude sickness. Start drinking LOTS of water at least two weeks ahead of time. Once you are here, continue to drink water even if you aren't feeling thirsty. Don't over indulge on alcohol or you'll become very dehydrated. We highly recommend drinks that have electrolytes like Pedialyte to avoid getting sick.

Rental Car
Denver
If you choose to rent a car, don't let them upsell you to a SUV - you don't need it this time of year! Depending on how long you're staying, you don't need a rental. Breckenridge is a pretty small town that is walkable and has a free bus system.
