Shaye and Kaitlynn met when they attended second grade together. They didn’t like each other at first because Shaye stole Kaitlynn’s best friend (she will never live it down) but this quickly bloomed into a life long friendship. Not all of you may know this but they actually have matching sombrero tattoos which they would be glad to show you if you chose to ask. The story behind this is they shared senior year Spanish class together and bonded over typical high school shenanigans.

Within their passion of the gym, Cameron and Douglas became close very quickly. As you can see, they have both succeeded together to be who they are today, as a pair. Nearly everything that one did, the other followed and vise versa. They were each other’s first gym partners, in fact this is where the friendship blossomed. Cameron walked into the gym where Douglas was actively working out and said, and I quote, “make me huge.” And the rest is history. Cameron gave a huge welcome to Kaitlynn when he found out Douglas had a new girlfriend, they became good friends along the way, and he has been supportive of every good decision they’ve made since they started their relationship.

Growing up Abby and Kaitlynn didn’t get along very well. Kaitlynn was 4 when Abby was born, so the power struggle between the two young girls was prevalent. Being the two youngest in the family, they had a silent battle to be the favorite, but over time they matured and became adults. Once they both began to realize they had similar interests, they grew closer by the second. Kaitlynn is pleased to have Abigail as one of her bridesmaids and hope that she enjoys the journey in the second wedding she’s been apart of.

Being that Douglas and Kaitlynn first hung out at Jeff’s house, and that Cameron (best man, Shawn and Jeff’s son) is such a huge part of the couple’s life, they saw it fitting that Jeff marry them. He has always been there for the couple, ensuring their success and assisting the two with any advice he has to offer.
