Things To Do
Ceremony
The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm however we ask that you arrive at 4pm. We assume it will last until around 5pm in which we will switch over to the reception area where there will be an assortment of appetizers to choose from while you wait for dinner.
Group Photos
During this time we will be traveling around the venue to take photos with each group of which will be included in your thank you letters for you to remember our special day with us. Sit tight and wait for us to come around!
Drinks
We will have non alcoholic beverages such as iced water, lemonade, and iced coffee with cream and sugar on the side. We do ask that you bring your own alcohol if you so choose.
Lawn Games
Join us in some classic barbecue style lawn games! These include cornhole (Groom’s favorite), spikeball, ladder ball, horseshoes, kanjam, and beer pong (Bride’s favorite). Don’t be afraid to let your competitive side show.
Reception
After the grand entrance, the first dance will commence followed the father and daughter dance as well as the mother and son dance. Appetizers and dinner will be served after the dances are finished. Toasts will begin which will be followed by cake cutting. After dessert is served open dancing will commence and the real fun will begin.
Dinner and Dessert
Dinner will be a choice between pulled pork on a bun or glazed grilled chicken, paired with coleslaw and roasted veggies such as corn, asparagus, and potatoes. Dessert will be plain and chocolate mini cheesecakes followed by a toppings bar. This will be served buffet style so that you can choose exactly what you’d like on your plate.
