Kaitlyn and Cooper both went to college playing the sports they loved and actually had Freshman classes together. It wasn't until finals rolled around that they met and kept studying through the honor's program together.

Kaitlyn and Cooper had become glued to each other's hip and unsurprisingly decided to go on a date. Cooper took Kaitlyn to a French/Cajun restaurant that was right on the river and had hidden flowers in the truck before she came back out, to find on the way home. As they were driving back to their dorms, a shooting star streaked across the sky - they both took it as a sign.

After graduation, Kaitlyn was offered a scholarship to play another year of volleyball while starting her graduate degree. Cooper spent nearly every weekend driving to watch her play and slowly fall in love with Augusta, GA.

It didn't take long for Cooper to find a job and move down to Augusta to be with Kaitlyn. Spending every Saturday at the farmer's market, eating an obscene amount of Antonio's ranch, and knocking back way too many Lokos Tacos street tacos, Kaitlyn and Cooper fell in LOVE with the Aiken/Augusta area.

Kaitlyn's graduation was coming up and they both love Cajun food, so of course, Cooper found a job in Baton Rouge and Kaitlyn moved down a few months later. They have been happily eating some of the best food ever and enjoying day-beach trips. Dexter was rescued and an engagement was secretly planned....

Dexter is the cutest and a photoshoot was absolutely necessary before he lost his puppy face. So, Cooper got to work planning one in City Park and the French Quarter but never gave away that he would be asking Kaitlyn if she would marry him. During one of the poses, Dexter was let off leash by the photographer and he ran up to Kaitlyn and Cooper with the ring tied around his collar. They spent the rest of the day going around the city (with the best photographer ever) creating more memories. They ended the night with some Black Friday Shopping and spent that weekend celebrating with each other.

It may seem like it has taken FOREVER for this day to come, but when you are doing life with your best friend, it really doesn't feel like much time has passed since seeing that shooting star together. Kaitlyn and Cooper have really never been this excited to celebrate something with the people they love. Living so far away from most everyone has been hard, but they can not wait to see each of you in person and celebrate the official start to their adventure together. They can't explain how grateful they are that you all are traveling to one of their favorite places to experience this with them.
