We met in 2021 at church, where a simple friendship began—filled with laughter, shared interests, and easy conversations. Kaitlyn’s bright personality, constant smile, and goofiness made every moment lighter. Stephen was steady, dependable, a little nerdy in the best way, and always ready with a quiet joke or a thoughtful word. By May 2022, Stephen knew he wanted to marry Kaitlyn—but at the time, she didn’t feel quite the same. Still, we remained close friends, doing life side-by-side—playing volleyball, going on trips and spending time with friends. We grew to be closer and closer friends. In 2023, during a beach trip with friends, Kaitlyn started to see something different—something more. We began dating that June, and while our first go at a relationship had its rough patches, it laid the foundation for something deeper. After a breakup in December, we kept crossing paths—same church, same friends, same undeniable bond. In February 2024, we decided to try again—with open hearts and a promise to give it everything. This time, love came easier. It was more fun, more peaceful, more us. Of course, we still had our ups and downs, but through every challenge, we kept choosing each other. Then, in March 2025, Stephen proposed at Collierville Square—Kaitlyn’s favorite date spot, and the place where she knew she wanted to marry him. That moment felt like the beginning of forever. Now we’re getting married in October, surrounded by our people, ready to build a home filled with joy, faith, laughter, coffee dates, deep talks, and a lifetime of adventure—together.
