Historic Downtown Venice, FL
This is where we got engaged! One of our favorite sushi restaurants is here, as well as a great stroll down Venice Ave, for ice cream, lots of Italian food options, and a great beach view of the sunset.
The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature
This is where the reception will be, but it's a great place to stop by and visit!
Robinson Preserve and Palma Sola Botanical Gardens
For anyone wanting to get out in nature, Robinson Preserve is one of our favorite places!
Downtown
Great restaurants, weather, arts, and views! Some of our favorite downtown Sarasota restaurants are Boca Kitchen, The Drunken Poet, Marina Jacks, Wicked Cantina, and State Street Eating House. The Rooftop at the Westin and Art Ovation Hotels have amazing views of Sarasota Bay.
Riverwalk
A fun little area in downtown Bradenton with restaurants, shops, and a view of the Manatee River, walking distance to our reception site.
Motorworks Brewing
A fun brewery and beer garden with music, food trucks and games!
St. Armands Circle
A go-to spot for any Sarasota visit. Home to great stores, restaurants, and a quick walk to Lido Beach.
Nathan Benderson Park
One the best places to visit for a quick 3.5 mile run with amazing views lakeside views. The best times of day are around 30 minutes before sunrise or during the golden hours before sunset.
Anna Maria Island
A quick drive if you're looking for a fun beach weekend, great restaurants and of course, the beach! Lots of vacation rental options as well!
