Metro North Railroad

How we get to Beacon on weekends! This 90-minute scenic option from the historic Grand Central Terminal in NYC will drop you off right at Beacon. You will take the Hudson Line (towards Poughkeepsie) and it will be one of the later stops. Unfortunately, the Roundhouse is on the other side of town, so please be wary of a 1.5-mile, uphill walk if you want to forgo Uber.

John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

JFK will have the most incoming flights, however is also a little annoying to get to Beacon unless you are renting a car. HOWEVER, you can most definitely take the bus or a taxi to Grand Central Station and make your way up to Beacon. See URL for Google Map Directions.

LaGuardia Airport (LGA)

NYC's other big airport. They tend to have fewer options, but it is a much easier airport to navigate and easier to find shuttles to the train up to Beacon. If you plan on renting a car, it is much easier to drive out of this airport and will save you 20-40 minutes of driving time compared to JFK. See 'View' link for Google Map directions.

Stewart International Airport (SWF)

Fewest flights available, however you can skip trains and take a less than 20 minute Uber (or car rental) from Stewart Airport to the heart of Beacon. See the 'View' link below for the directions.

Westchester County Airport (HPN)

A New York airport in between the City and Beacon. A great option if you plan on renting a car as it is about an hour away driving. See below 'View' link for Google Maps details.

Albany International Airport (ALB)

An upstate NY hub that is great if you are planning on renting a car and driving down to Beacon. You can also take the Amtrak train to Poughkeepsie and connect to Beacon from there, but then we are already starting to get complicated... See below 'View' link for Google Maps details.
