Amber is an amazing friend. We have been attached at the hip since we met freshman year in our campus ministry, USF BCM. It has been a blast being best friends through so many firsts and new experiences, and our friendship is rooted in fun and in Jesus. I'm glad to have her by my side and helping Marc and I plan the wedding. :D

Jen is absolutely one of the funniest people I have EVER met. She is brilliant, crazy hard working, loyal, and just a wild card as well. I'm thankful for road trips, studying in 8-12 hour sessions, and drinking copious amounts of coffee. I don't think I could have gotten through grad school or feel confident driving if Jen wasn't with me! She is absolutely awesome.

Erin is my youngest sibling, but definitely a kindred spirit for our age difference. I love my sisters dearly and I am so thankful I get to see them often. Erin's sense of style, commitment to her vision and interest in learning and social justice are a few things I admire about her. I can't imagine having this day without my sweet sisters. There is so much more I could say, because I have known her my WHOLE life, but one really fun recent memory we have is dying my Mom and Grandma's hair blue and purple. I love how much fun I have with my family!!!

Shannon, Shannon, Shannon. Siblings are friends God gives you, I think! I am so thankful for my sister Shannon and her artistic, creative, and thoughtful spirit! Sharing a room with my sisters was actually pretty fun, with lots of talking too late. Shannon is hilarious, caring, and also full of awesome ideas for parties and more. Shannon kills the make up, hair game, and so much more!!! There's way too much to say about my sisters to fit here, but boy am I glad to have them with me! I'm so thankful.

Carissa brings the adventure into my life, and I absolutely love it. She is a person who I love talking to nonstop, but also can catch up with like no time is lost. Her approach to life, event planning skills, and spirit are so inspiring and I treasure the times we shared in college being extra, throwing parties, and talking in her jeep for hours about our deepest secrets, fears, hopes + dreams!

Kelly is SO awesome, haha! I am so thankful I got to stand my her side during her wedding in August, and really glad we reconnected in recent years. Kelly and I went to high school together and knew each other, but I got to know her much better when I realized Luc, one of Marc's groomsmen, was DATING her! She moved down to Tampa and we got to live together, which was super fun. I love Kelly's heart for serving others through art, like leading worship, yoga, and using art to support causes and messages she care's about! Super excited for all the double dates I see in the future!

Emily is a rock star. I actually met and heard about Emily from her parents, who are Christian missionaries. Learning about her family's story and that Emily was back in the States, I was elated when I got to meet her at a concert several years ago and got to make plans with her. We ate amazing Thai food and then drank Thai tea with boba...proceeding to stay up texting till around 4 am! She is the kind of friend I needed and didn't know, and our friendship is so special to me! We have gone on FAST road trips, wedding dress shopping, and just both developed at christians and professionals so much these last few years. I am so glad that she will be with me and I can't imagine this day without her!
Alice

Alice is a little saint. Let me explain. I met her when I was freshman and she was considering coming to USF. Mark Frank (now Mary West!) showed Alice all the finer things in College life, and we were able to connect as well. When she came to USF the following year, we connected deeper through our faith and eventually became roomies, best friends, and church pals too. Alice is extremely humble, sweet, and kind. She is also so funny, playful, and rules at Halloween. One of my favorite recent memories was watching HER get married, and having a blast playing hide-and-go-seek at a casino. I'm excited to keep getting to grow with Alice and encourage each other in marriage, as we did in dating and now engagement (for me).

Lexie and I go back to freshman year, and I am SO glad! We have done so much together, from leading a really cool bible study for non-christians, to forming a Spring Break clique, and jumping on trampolines and going to theme parks. It's been such a blessing watching her and Derek fall in love, get engaged, and get married, and I was so honored to be with her at wedding! I am excited to have Lexie with me, reminding me about what matters most - the marriage, not the party - while also giving great advice and help making sure our wedding day is a blast! I look forward to more and more double dates and hang outs in the "Castle" and maybe having Lexie help me paint mine and Marc's digs one day!

Katie, or Kat, is the BEST. Oh my, she is one of the hardest working and smartest people, but also relatable and laid back and fun-loving people I know! I love that I met her through her brother, who is also awesome, and I am so glad that our friendship has grown SO MUCH in the last handful of years! I cannot wait to have Katie with me at Marc and I's wedding...Kat and Drew are 2 of our fav people. So thankful for amazing friends who push me but also enjoy life!

Oh MY! I absolutely LOVE this friend! Chimica and I knew each other through Sunday Night Fellowship, a relaxed hang out/ time for worship. We got way closer after I started dating Marc, who Chimica is also good friends with, and then we took it to the next level working out together and intentionally praying for each other. Like everyone else in my party (and honestly, at this wedding), Chimica is a person I laugh with, sweat with, pray for and just stay real with. She has been such a great encourager to Marc and I, and she has been so faithful and consistent. Ready for all the wedding prep / stress reducing workouts and speed walks with this dear friend!

Lenny is my cousin and we've known each other since we were babies. From living in the same on the street as kids to grown men, He's been that guy whenever I need to laugh and have a good time. Even though we lived in different parts of the country, our bond remains strong. He's like an older brother to me.

Matt is one of my good friends from college. We met at a Men's Retreat through the Navigators during my junior year. We became really good friends when we were worked together at a theme park for two months and events through the ministry. We remained tight when he moved to Tampa and stood by his side as he married to his wife.

I've known Fred since we were kids. We grew up on the same street as kids and played basketball for hours at my place or his place. Our families were tight growing up and I'll be over his place playing video games and vice versa. We went to Forest Glen Middle and he was my protector there. Always family.

Chris and I met at USF through the Navigators ministry. We enjoyed each other's company and became roommates. He's a great guy to be around and very knowledgble on a lot of things such as car parts, video games, and more. We spent a lot of time in college playing battlefield 3 to the wee hours of the morning and working out at the rec center.
Luc Lawrence

Luc and I met when I visited Matt Rod one weekend at the University of Florida when he was working parking for one of the football games at the time. Our friendship blossomed a year later when we saw each other at the men's retreat where our schools competed against one another. We developed a bond for music, movies, our faith, video games, and being one of the few minorities in Navs at the time. When he moved to Tampa to work for the Navs, we became roommates and lived together until he got married to Kelly.

Naraly and I met through a mutual friend at their place for brunch after church one afternoon. We became quick friends after that and have been friends since. We have a lot of things in common. She's not scared to ask tough questions. She's been a great friend to Katie and me and a joy to be around.

Marcus and I met in college through the Navigators at USF. We became good friends during his sophomore year at an African American conference through ministry. Our friendship blossomed through the years as we played basketball and video games together.

Jose (pronounce Joes) and I met through the Navigators at USF when we were both in college. While we would see each other at times, we didn't know each other well until the summer of 2013. Through a program with the Navs, Jose and I were able to develop a bond that has lasted till this day.

I met ChrisRyan Davis at a house church and became fast friends. With our love for sports, music and culture, the two of us even started a podcast a couple of years ago. We've been good friends and I enjoyed our friendship these last five years.

Matt Mercurio and I met through the Navigators at USF. We had a class together where we studied religions around the world and participated in a bible study as well. We also lived together in a house and apartment in seminole heights. He's one of my oldest friends from college. He's a great listener and pun master. He's a guy you want on your side.

Sam and I have known each other since we were kids. He's my cousin. He is Fred's younger brother. I would see Sam a lot whenever Fred and I played video games, basketball or football. He attended USF as well and would see each other on campus.
