Question

What COVID-19 precautions are you taking?

Answer

We kindly request that all guests (vaccinated and unvaccinated) receive a negative rapid COVID test within 48 hours upon arrival at our wedding. Unvaccinated guests are expected to wear masks for the duration of the event. If you are feeling unwell on the day of the wedding, please stay home to ensure the safety of the other guests.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding's dress code is Garden Formal- think floor-length dresses, midi-length dresses, floral patterns, light textures, suits or a nice button up shirt (can be with neckties or bowties). Colors to keep in mind: purple, pink, gold, silver, and green. Colors to avoid: red, orange, cream, beige, & white. Additionally, here is a Pinterest board to provide you with inspiration. https://pin.it/5GmROVK

Question

Where can I get outfits for a Garden Formal Event?

Answer

We understand that wedding attire can be expensive, so here are some rental outfits options to consider! https://www.nuuly.com , https://www.renttherunway.com and https://www.fashionpass.com/ If you are looking to purchase your outfit, here are a few online store options; JJ's House Lulu's Asos

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, however we respectfully request that you leave your children at home with a loved one or babysitter. That way you can enjoy our adult only party!

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

When entering Calamigos Ranch you are greeted by staff, inform them you are there to attend Katie and Kaitlyn's wedding in the Oak Room, and they will direct you towards the parking area. Follow the path, and there will be valet staff available to park your car. Valet is no charge.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5:30 pm and we'd love for our wedding to be relaxing for our guests. To ensure that happens, please arrive no more than one hour before the ceremony begins. In doing so, you are guaranteed time to explore the venue and pick the best seats in the house!

Question

Will it be an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones be turned off and put away during the ceremony so that you may fully enjoy our wedding vows. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like. Once we have received ceremony photos from our photographer, we will be sure to send a copy to each of our guests.

Question

Can I bring guests/+1's not noted on my invitation?

Answer

We address the invitations to the people we would like to come. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes and no. Our bar will include beer, wine, sparkling wine, water, tea, coffee, and soft drinks. The Brides have created a specialty cocktail that will also be available, the bar is no extra cost to the guests. The bar will be open during cocktail hour, and will close at 9 pm. There will be a water, tea, and coffee station available after the bar has closed.
