Start your afternoon relaxing in Coolidge Park. Walk up to Frazier Ave. for some window shopping or snacks. Then enjoy a stroll across Walnut Street Bridge. End your evening soaking in the sunset from the balcony of the Whiskey Thief bar at the Edwin Hotel.

Located inside the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo, Stir is one of our favorite spots for dinner or brunch. Be sure to give yourself some extra time before or after to explore the Choo Choo. If you're looking for nightlife after dinner, you can go straight from Stir to the bars on Station St.

This is one of our favorite hikes to do with our dog Eta. It's a quick 2.1 mile out and back that takes you to a small waterfall.

There are lots of natural swimming holes near Chattanooga. Our favorite is North Chickamauga Blue Hole in Soddy Daisy, TN, about 20 minutes from downtown.

One of our favorite weekend activities is kayaking the Tennessee River. Rent kayaks or paddleboards from L2 Outside in Coolidge Park and paddle out to Maclellan Island for some birdwatching or a swim.

Anyone who knows Kaitlyn knows she LOVES all things vintage. Chattanooga has some great spots to shop for vintage clothing and antiques. Walking distance from the Moxy Hotel, this is our favorite spot for a nice dinner out. Kaitlyn recommends the fried goat's cheese and Juan recommends the mp fried rice.
