Walnut Street Bridge
Start your afternoon relaxing in Coolidge Park. Walk up to Frazier Ave. for some window shopping or snacks. Then enjoy a stroll across Walnut Street Bridge. End your evening soaking in the sunset from the balcony of the Whiskey Thief bar at the Edwin Hotel.

Go here at sunset for the best views of the city and delicious craft cocktails.
Ruby Falls
Take a tour of Ruby Falls, the tallest underground waterfall in the United States!
Rock City Gardens
Visit Rock City to enjoy the stunning views from the top of Lookout Mountain.
Stir
Located inside the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo, Stir is one of our favorite spots for dinner or brunch. Be sure to give yourself some extra time before or after to explore the Choo Choo. If you're looking for nightlife after dinner, you can go straight from Stir to the bars on Station St.
Glen Falls Trail
This is one of our favorite hikes to do with our dog Eta. It's a quick 2.1 mile out and back that takes you to a small waterfall.
North Chickamauga Blue Hole
There are lots of natural swimming holes near Chattanooga. Our favorite is North Chickamauga Blue Hole in Soddy Daisy, TN, about 20 minutes from downtown.
Kayak the Tennessee River
One of our favorite weekend activities is kayaking the Tennessee River. Rent kayaks or paddleboards from L2 Outside in Coolidge Park and paddle out to Maclellan Island for some birdwatching or a swim.
Niedlov's Cafe & Bakery
Our go-to breakfast spot. The biscuits and pastries are to die for. Try Kaitlyn's favorite, the mushroom and asparagus baked eggs with a honey & lavender latte.
Oddstory Brewing Co.
Kid-friendly local brewery with an amazing patio. The food is great too! This is a great spot to kick back for the afternoon and enjoy a few brews.
Vintage Shopping
Anyone who knows Kaitlyn knows she LOVES all things vintage. Chattanooga has some great spots to shop for vintage clothing and antiques. Check out some of her favorites: The Local Dive Retail (607 Cherokee Blvd., Chattanooga, TN), Dirty Jane's (1910 Dayton Blvd., Red Bank, TN), and the Refindery (1300 McCallie Ave., Chattanooga, TN).
Chattanooga Market
If you're looking for something to do on Sunday morning, we recommend stopping by the Chattanooga Market. The First Horizon Pavilion will be full of fresh produce and local artists.
Tennessee Aquarium
Escape the heat in the Tennessee Aquarium. Located in the heart of downtown, the aquarium has two large buildings full of exhibits.

Great patio. Great food. Great drinks.
St. John's Meeting Place
Walking distance from the Moxy Hotel, this is our favorite spot for a nice dinner out. Kaitlyn recommends the fried goat's cheese and Juan recommends the mp fried rice.
Fountainhead Taproom
A kid-friendly casual spot where you can pour your own beers, ciders, seltzers and more. They also have a full service bar, kitchen and a great collection of board games.
