Let's celebrate!

When Juan walked in to his first day of work at Kipp New Orleans, Kaitlyn immediately texted her friends that her boss had hired her a husband. She knew right away that he was the one. After a few weeks of passing notes back and forth between their cubicles, Juan finally worked up the courage to invite Kaitlyn kayaking on the bayou. She wasn't sure whether it was a date, until she realized that he put her in a deflating kayak and was using that as the excuse to keep reaching over to her boat. After that date, they were inseparable. A few months into dating, Juan got offered his dream job in Chattanooga. He wanted Kaitlyn to move with him, but afraid it was too soon, she told him she wanted to try long distance and if it went well she would move at the end of the school year. He called every day as soon as he got off work and it was clear that he was serious. Kaitlyn moved to Chattanooga in the summer of 2022 and they have spent the past year and a half making it feel like home. Juan surprised Kaitlyn with a trip to Iceland for Christmas and proposed to her on a black sand beach after climbing the largest glacier in Europe. Needless to say, he nailed it. They couldn't be happier and are so excited to spend their big day with you.
