Things To Do

Below are some of our favorite restaurants and activities in the New Hope/Lambertville and Doylestown area. For our foodie friends, we recommend making reservations in advance. As you'll quickly realize upon arrival, the area (especially New Hope) is very lively in the summer!

Nektar Wine Bar

8 West Mechanic Street, New Hope, PA 18938
, (267) 743-2109

Great little wine and whiskey bar with small plates and craft beer - can't go wrong! Two of our favorites are the portobello fries and fried cheese "saganaki". We recommend booking a reservation if interested!

New Hope Ferry Market

32 South Main Street, New Hope, PA 18938

Has so much to offer with multiple vendors tucked into this cute, open air market. This is where Joe bought Kaitlyn a few macaroons shortly before proposing along the water!

The Salt House

7 East Ferry Street, New Hope, PA 18938

Old pub vibes...while it might be too hot to turn the fire on in June, it adds a sweet ambiance to a great meal! The grilled artichokes and cheeseburger are our guilty pleasure!

Karla's Restaurant

5 West Mechanic Street, New Hope, PA 18938
, (215) 862-2612

Homey spot for locals on a great corner of town!

Stella of New Hope

50 South Main Street, New Hope, PA 18938
, (267) 740-2691

On the pricer side but great food, drinks and an incredible view of the river...and spot where Joe proposed :)

Ferry + Main

10 West Ferry Street, New Hope, PA 18938
, (215) 862-2300

This is the restaurant in the lobby of the Logan Inn -- super fun vibe, beautiful decor and tasty food. If you like oysters definitely stop in. They have a big bar so drinks are also a great option here.

Genevieve's Kitchen

19 East State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901
, (267) 614-9635

Great spot for brunch/lunch! They have a great combo of healthy and yummy options and the owners are so nice!

The Hattery Stove & Still

18 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901
, (215) 345-1527

Another great option for brunch/lunch -- funky vibe in the lobby of the Doylestown Inn!

Delaware Canal State Park

Step back in time with a walk along the towpath! Easy to find right in New Hope, runs 40+ miles along the Delaware River on both the PA and NJ sides

Washington Crossing State Park

112 River Road, Washington Crossing, PA 18977

For our favorite history buffs out there, spend some time walking around Washington Crossing State Park, about 7 miles from New Hope

New Hope Cyclery

404 York Road, New Hope, PA 18938
, (215) 862-6888

Cute little bike shop just outside of the main drag in New Hope, you can easily rent bikes and hop on the Canal Path. The NJ side is probably easiest, runs parallel to the Lambertville Station Inn.

Night Bird Vintage Clothing

12 West Mechanic Street, New Hope, PA 18938
, (215) 862-1902

For our shopping lovers, this is such a great vintage store right in New Hope -- Kaitlyn found a black fur coat from the 80's there and has loved it ever since!

Nurture Spa

31 West Ferry Street, New Hope, PA 18938
, (215) 862-7010

Everyone deserves a little pampering...treat yourself at the local spa in town!
