FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, we would love to celebrate with you and your children! Please indicate on your RSVP form if you will be bringing your children. If we mistakenly did not add your children, please just let us know!

Question

I'm not Catholic. What should I do during the Mass?

Answer

We are so glad to have family and friends from many different faith traditions celebrating with us! You can use the wedding program to follow along with the prayers, readings and other components of the Mass. During portions with kneeling, please feel free to kneel or to sit in your pew. During Communion, if you are not a practicing Catholic, please feel free to either remain seated in your pew, or to come forward with your arms crossed to receive a blessing. We are happy to answer any other questions, and are so grateful that you're joining us!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please check your RSVP which will indicate this! If you have questions, please let us know!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire recommended, but please feel free to wear whatever you are most comfortable in!

Question

Why is there a gap between the wedding ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Weddings in Catholic churches are often scheduled for earlier in the afternoon in order to accommodate the weekend Mass schedule. We hope you'll take advantage of the brief time gap to check out a restaurant or coffee shop, or to have some time to relax and refresh at your hotel, before joining us at the reception!
