FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear semi-formal/cocktail attire for our wedding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While children are not invited to the wedding ceremony or reception, if you are traveling with your kids and need help finding a sitter, Kaitlyn and her family would be happy to help with recommendations. It's a small town, so finding trusted family friend(s) is not a problem.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, if you would like to drive, there is ample parking available at Arrowhead.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please see the "travel" page for links to recommended hotels. There will be a shuttle to/from these hotels and the venue.

Question

What time is the shuttle to and from the hotel?

Answer

Shuttles will leave the hotels promptly at 3:45pm. If you miss the shuttle, you will need to find other transportation to the venue. Shuttles from the reception returning to the hotels will run at 9:00pm, 10:00pm, and 11:00pm. Additional information on the shuttles can be found on both the "Schedule" page and the "Travel" page.

Question

I am confused. There are 4 hotels listed, but the shuttles only run to 2 of them. Help!

Answer

If you are staying at any of the 4 hotels on our "Travel" page, you will have easy access to the shuttle buses we are providing to and from the wedding venue. The Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield Inn & Suites share a parking lot - please walk to the Courtyard by Marriott for the bus (~2 minutes). Similarly, the Tru by Hilton and Springhill Suites are next to one another. Please walk to the Tru by Hilton for the bus (~3 minutes).

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

March in Buffalo is unpredictable! Please check the weather regularly before your trip and bring a coat just in case (you never know).

Question

Where should I eat chicken wings?

Answer

You might be coming to celebrate our marriage, but we also know you're coming, in part, to eat wings. We've listed a few of our favorite places on the "Things to Do" page. Kaitlyn says to order them crispy and medium for best results. (PS - they're just wings, or chicken wings...no need to call them Buffalo wings here. Really.)

Question

Where else should I eat/drink?

Answer

Kaitlyn's family made a map of some of our favorite places to eat/drink nearby. Copy/paste this link: https://tinyurl.com/3tu3yy22
