Where is the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding will take place at Hidden Lake Venue. Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same location.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM. Please plan to arrive by 4:30 PM to allow time to park and find your seat. The reception will follow immediately after the ceremony and will continue until 10:30 PM.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We encourage semi-formal spring attire. Florals, pastels, and seasonal colors are welcome, but please dress nicely for the occasion.

Will dinner be served?
Answer
Yes! Dinner will be served during the reception around 7:00 PM.

Will alcohol be served?
Answer
Yes. There will be a cash bar provided by Midwest Sippin'. They will also be providing a hydration station with water, tea, and a mocktail option for guests who prefer non-alcoholic drinks.

Are children invited?
Answer
Yes, children are welcome to attend! We kindly ask that parents supervise their children throughout the event to ensure they remain safe and respectful during the ceremony and reception. Please note the venue is located near a lake, so close supervision is especially appreciated.

Yes, parking is available at the venue for guests.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly ask that phones remain put away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment with us. Afterward, we will provide a QR code and/or hashtag so guests can easily share any photos they take during the celebration.

Do you have a registry?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift! However, if you would like to celebrate with a gift, we have a small registry and a honeymoon fund available on our website.

Will there be dancing?

Absolutely! We’re looking forward to celebrating and dancing with everyone.

What happens if the weather is bad?
Answer
Kansas spring weather can be unpredictable! If the weather does not cooperate, the ceremony will move indoors at the venue.
Question
Will there be a transition between the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Yes. The ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception will follow indoors. We kindly ask guests who are able to help us move a few chairs inside as we transition the space for the reception. Thank you in advance for helping us make the celebration run smoothly!

Will there be security at the event?
Answer
Yes. Security will be present throughout the wedding and reception. Their role is to ensure everyone’s safety and to step in if necessary, so all guests can enjoy the celebration with peace of mind.
