Mission Point Resort

Mission Point Resort is the location of our ceremony and reception. If you are interested in staying at the resort please use the booking link below to reserve your room with our group rate. We recommend making your hotel reservation with Mission Point or other accommodations on the island as far in advance as possible. For those staying on the island we also recommend arriving and enjoying the island on Friday, as many hotels including Mission Point Resort require a 2-night stay. Please note the group reservation link is only applicable for a two night stay and only certain style guests rooms and suites are included in our block. If you wish to extend your stay on the island or book a room style not included in the room block you can call (800) 833-7711, dial 3 for group reservations, and mention the Watkins Quezada wedding. Our group rate is only available for booking until April 29, 2025.

If you interested in exploring other accommodations on the island visit mackinacisland.org linked below. At this link you can view the other wonderful hotels, bed & breakfasts, and cottages on the island. While reviewing availability online, please note some accommodations may not have their reservations open for the 2025 season yet. We recommend calling to confirm availability and when reservations will be open for 2025. If you wish to stay off the island on the mainland, there are numerous hotels in St. Ignace and Mackinaw City. Please keep the ferry schedule in mind when making your decision to stay on or off the island. We recommend booking as far in advance as possible to ensure the best rates and availability.

Shepler's Ferry

The most common way to travel to Mackinac Island is by ferry. We have arranged for a group discount code through Shepler's Mackinac Ferry, which offers departures from Mackinaw City and St. Ignace on the mainland. We enjoy crossing the bridge and taking the ferry from St.Ignace as we find it is often less busy than the Mackinac City location. Complimentary day parking and paid overnight parking options are available at both Shepler’s mainland locations. Visit the parking page on Shepler's website for more details. We have arranged for a group discount on ferry tickets. If purchasing tickets online use the code 25junewed for the discounted rate. If purchasing tickets at the docks, mention the Watkins Quezada wedding for our discounted ticket rate. Travel Note

Luggage Transportation to Mission Point Resort

Before you cross the water to the island, you will be asked which hotel you are staying at. Tell the porters Mission Point and your luggage will be tagged and transferred directly to the hotel. You'll receive one luggage tag per bag. Upon check-in, you will present these luggage tags to the front desk. This will ensure that your luggage gets to the correct room. Please keep any items that you may need, such as medication, on your person.

Getting to Mission Point Resort

Once on the island, you may take a horse drawn taxi, ride on the Mackinac Island Carriage Tours shuttle servicing Mission Point, or enjoy the short 15-minute walk. Please keep in mind that the Mission Point Taxi Shuttle Service is $8.50 per adult and drivers can only accept cash; the horses take a break from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm and Shuttle Service is not available during this time.
