Are kids welcome?
Answer
We understand that Mackinac Island is a destination and will require an extended stay. If you are unable to find childcare or wish to spend the weekend on the island with your precious little ones, we are happy to make special accommodations to offer a kids meal for them at our reception. We kindly ask that after dinner children spend the evening with a family member or friend to allow for an adult only celebration to enjoy the band and other evening festivities.

Is there a dress code?

Elevated Cocktail Attire with a Mackinac Island Flare: Ladies are encouraged to wear a colorful floor length dress, tea-length dress, or a dressy pantsuit. Gentleman are encouraged to wear a suit and tie. Please bring layers to be prepared for the weather as the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive between 2:30 and 2:45 as the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm.

How do I get to Mackinac Island?
Answer
The most common way to travel to Mackinac Island is by ferry. We have arranged for a group discount code through Shepler's Mackinac Ferry, which offers departures from Mackinaw City and St. Ignace on the mainland. We enjoy crossing the bridge and taking the ferry from St.Ignace as we find it is often less busy than the Mackinac City location. Complimentary day parking and paid overnight parking options are available at both Shepler’s mainland locations. Visit the parking page on Shepler's website for more details. We have set up a group discount through shepler's ferry. If purchasing tickets online use the code 25junewed to receive a discount on your tickets. Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to limited space at our venue, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.
