Is there a dress code?

How should we book rooms for the wedding?

Answer

Guests can call the Reservations Department at CBI at 800-527-4884, Monday – Friday 8:30AM to 6PM, Saturday & Sunday 9AM – 5PM, to reserve rooms. Please refer to the Porter / Zurbrugg Wedding ($299 per night, up to 2 queen beds; 60% discount).

When should we arrive in Chatham?

Answer

We recommend arriving on Saturday, March 25, the day before the wedding. If you plan to stay at Chatham Bars Inn, standard check-in is not until 4pm and will not be possible to accommodate prior to the Ceremony start time of 1:30 PM if you arrive on wedding day. We will also be hosting events on Saturday evening! There are plenty of fun things to do on Cape Cod, even in the spring. Please reach out if you need additional suggestions other than those listed under "Things to Do."

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, we have a limited number of guests allowed by the venue. If your invitation is not also addressed to a guest, then we do not have space for your plus one.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we are having an adults-only ceremony and reception.

Is downtown Chatham within walking distance of Chatham Bars Inn?

Answer

Yes! Main Street is 0.4 miles from CBI. Our after party will take place at the Chatham Squire, a 10 minute walk (or 2 minute drive) from the reception. If you stay at CBI, they provide free personal transportation in the hotel-owned SUVs.

Other transportation options?

Answer

We are looking into the best rates for airport transportation from Boston and Providence. We are also looking into a taxi service from the after party back to guests' respective hotels or other accommodations.

Do you have other hotel suggestions?

Answer

We listed several hotels under the "Travel" section, but we will only be blocking rooms at CBI. For our military friends or other AMEX platinum members, Chatham Bars Inn is part of the Fine Hotels and Resorts Collection that allows early check-in, late check-out, and other benefits if you would prefer to book through AMEX.
