The Litchfield Inn

All the rooms are reserved for the wedding weekend. We will provide transportation to and from the wedding from the Inn. You must call them directly to reserve and not online, and say you are a part of the Ball/O'Donnell wedding. 860.868.4503.

Getting Around

Please note that ubers / taxis are extremely limited in this area. While transportation will be provided to weekend events, the best way to get around the lake is by car. Given this we do recommend renting a car or carpooling with someone local if you are coming from out of town.

Flight

LAGUARDIA, NEWARK, HARTFORD, WHITE PLAINS

NYC has tons of airports - LaGuardia (2hr drive), Newark (2.5 hr drive) but will keep you out of city traffic, which can be bad on a Friday afternoon. Hartford & White Plains are both within 1.5 hour drive but flight availability is limited.

Train

Metro North

The Metro-North stop Harlem Valley-Wingdale will get you within a 30 minute drive to the Lake. If you leave from Grand Central Station the total trip duration is a little under 2 hours and typically requires a transfer at Southeast station. Please keep in mind that ubers/taxis around the lake are not reliable, so we recommend organizing a ride with someone who has a car if you choose this option.
