Things To Do

It brings us so much joy to host all of you in Tucson, AZ for a weekend in the desert! Who doesn't want to spend some time in the sun in the middle of winter? We hope you find time to explore the city and experience some of its charm. Here's a few recommendations for while you're here!

Desert Museum

2021 North Kinney Road, Tucson, AZ 85743
, (520) 883-1380

If you want to get the "up close and personal" view of desert life, this place is well worth it. Zoom meets museum meets botanical gardens hidden on the edge of Sonoran National Park (and only 20 minutes from where Kaitlin grew up!)

Old Town Artisans

201 North Court Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85701
, (520) 620-1725

Every time we're in Tucson, we always end up here! Whether it be to for some tacos and mezcal or on the hunt for some holiday gifts, this place is a Southwestern Wonderland. It's in the heart of the "old downtown" with plenty of museums, restaurants, historical landmarks nearby. AND just down the block from our venue :)

eegee's!

243 East Speedway Boulevard, 101, Tucson, AZ 85705

You don't go to Tucson without going to Eegees. That's just the way it is. They're everywhere and if you have time, get an eegee, a sub, some fries, and do not forget ranch (actually just get extra and thank us later) - you won't regret it!

Club Congress

311 East Congress Street, Tucson, AZ 85701
, (520) 622-8848

Looking to hit downtown? This historic hotel/cafe/bar/nighclub/venue is in the heart of downtown Tucson and has many of surrounding bars and restaurants. Make sure to find some good Mexican while you're down there!

Sabino Canyon

Catalina Foothills, AZ 85750

Tucson is surrounded by 5 (yes, 5) mountain ranges. Catalinas, Huachucas, Rincons, Santa Ritas, and Tucson Mountains. You'll likely need a vehicle or be ready for some longer shared rides, but you cannot go wrong in where to hike in Tucson. Sabino Canyon, Catalina State Park, and Starr Pass all offer some incredible trails. There's not much like the terrain of the Sonoran Desert so if you have time to explore it, we recommend you do!
