What is the attire?
Answer
To help celebrate this special day with us, we would love to see everyone looking sharp in semi-formal / upscale-casual attire. The ceremony will be held under a majestic oak tree in the yard. Suggestions for dress: MEN: a suit, or a sports coat with button-down shirt and relaxed pants (chinos or khakis). A tie is optional. LADIES: a little black dress, your nice church dress, an elegant sundress, or pant suit. Since the ceremony will be in the yard, dressy sandals, flats or chunky heels, are encouraged. And pack a wrap in case the weather turns cool.

What are the plans if it rains?
Answer
The Estate at White Hall Vineyard is a beautiful working vineyard and winery. We plan to have the ceremony under a majestic oak tree in the yard, followed by a hors d'oeuvre hour in the winery. The celebration will continue with dinner and dancing in the barn. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the ceremony will be moved to the winery with the following events in the barn.

How far is the Estate at White Hall Vineyard from Fredericksburg?
Answer
On the wedding day, we suggest to allow at least 45 minutes to drive from Fredericksburg. This should give you enough time for the drive, park and find a seat for the ceremony.

Is the wedding unplugged?
Answer
We've hired two amazing wedding photographers who will be capturing this special day. As our guest, we want you to relax and just enjoy this time with us. So we respectfully ask that everyone leave all cameras and cell phones off during the ceremony. Of course we will be happy to share our wedding photos with you afterward!
