Lake Norman State Park Campground

There are several options for staying in the park. Group Campsites - Located right next to the ceremony/reception area. We have reserved all of the group campsites. The sites are a 1-5 minute walk from the car. Let us know if you're interested. Family Campground - Individual campsites can be reserved in the main campground located a couple of miles from the ceremony/reception area. You park right next to your site and there is a bath house. Cabins - There are several small/cute cabins within the family campground. They have electricity but no running water, they share the bath house. If you are interested in staying in a cabin, let us know because we have a few reserved.

Travel Note

Entering and Exiting the Park

Based on the direction you're coming from, you can enter the park through the main entrance on State Park Rd or the side entrance on St. Johns Rd. The main gate will close at 8 PM. However, you will still be able to enter/exit from the side entrance on St Johns Rd. Keep this in mind if you are leaving the park after 8 PM.
