Ceremony & Reception

2:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The ceremony will take place outside under the trees on the banks of Lake Norman. Please drive slowly through the park, you will see signs for the Community Building a couple of miles after the entrance gate. The attire is dressy casual, we want our guests to be comfortable. More info here: https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-dressy-casual The reception will take place right next to the ceremony, in the Community Building. There will be a cocktail hour with light refreshments and Neapolitan-style pizza for dinner. All cars must be out of the Community Building parking lot by 7:30 PM and the gate will be locked. Based on the direction you're coming from, you may enter the park through the main entrance on State Park Rd or the side entrance on St. Johns Rd. The main gate will close at 8 PM. However, you will still be able to enter/exit from the side entrance on St Johns Rd. Keep this in mind if you are leaving the park after 8 PM.
