Question

Why Breakfast for Dinner?

Answer

Ever since the beginning of our relationship, weekend breakfasts have been an important occasion. They provide an opportunity that we don't get during the week to slow down and enjoy one another's company over a cup of coffee and a homemade meal.

Question

How Did You Meet?

Answer

We met online while Katie was in graduate school at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL and Brad was living in St. Louis, MO. While neither of us were necessarily looking for long term romance, we were both hooked after our first date. Both of us recall telling our friends and family early on that we were going to marry one another. A few months later in May, Katie got a job in Boston and moved there, while Brad and our cat Josephine followed in January.

Question

What is Your Engagement Story?

Answer

Brad proposed to Katie on November, 25, 2017. While he had originally intended to propose the following weekend, a last minute visit from Katie's father that weekend pushed the engagement up a week. Brad had to contact the designer of the ring to have it express shipped, while one of Katie's coworkers had to run around Boston to various post offices to locate it. Brad proposed with a teal macaroon ring box which was disguised as an ornament, and asked Katie to marry him after they had put up the Christmas tree together for the first time. Katie, having ring shopped for Brad early on in their relationship, gave Brad his wedding ring on February 10, 2018.
