Beacon, New York is the best! There are great coffee shops, art museums, vintage stores, and breweries to check out. All within/near Main Street so you won't get too chilly.
Dia Beacon

Dia Beacon is on the banks of the Hudson River in a former Nabisco box printing factory. The museum presents art from the 1960s to the present and is known for large contemporary art installations. It's one of our favorite stops and there's an equally great Dia Chelsea art gallery if you stop in NYC on the way out to Beacon.
Hudson Valley Brewery

You'll get to see the Hudson Valley Brewery for our Welcome Party on Friday evening, but they do great food truck pop-ups during the day and is a great place to hang after wandering.
