In the foothills of Colorado's Pikes Peak, Brian and Kaitlan unknowingly were neighbors until fur, err- fate, stepped in. Kaitlan was walking Sully, her sweet mountain pup, when a silver bullet of a dog, Terra, bolted around the duo and created a bit of a scene. Seeing Kaitlan tangled in Sully's leash, Brian rushed over to collect his dog and Kaitlan's number. They've been tangled up in each other ever since.

Perpetually in a state of adoration for the peaks they met under and explored together, Brian and Kaitlan traveled back to their beloved Colorado. Equipped with headlamps and a bright moon above, Brian, Kaitlan and some of their closest friends started hiking the towering 14,000 ft Mt. Bierstadt at 1 a.m. After hours of traversing the trail they made it to the summit at dawn for a breathtaking panoramic view. Here, holding a small box, Brian dropped to a knee to say, "I want to spend every single sunrise with you, Kaitlan." And with that came the sweetest "yes" Kaitlan has ever said.
